When it comes to off-roading around Pittsburgh, it's no secret that the Jeep® Wrangler excels. While other brands, like Ford, have recently released vehicles to try and match the Wrangler's excellent off-roading skills, none have reached it so far. Not even the highly acclaimed Ford Bronco Sport can reach the Wrangler's heights.

More Engine Options

One way the Wrangler outshines the Bronco Sport is in its engine options. Right now, the Wrangler offers four engines: the base 285 horsepower Pentastar V6, the 270 horsepower turbocharged four-cylinder, the 470 horsepower Hemi V8 engine, and the V6 diesel engine. On the other side, the Bronco Sport only brings two engines to the table: the three-cylinder engine and the four-cylinder engine.

Built for Off-Roading

While both the Wrangler and Bronco Sport are well geared up for off-roading, the Wrangler still pulls ahead. Find steel skid plates, 33-inch all-terrain tires, an Off-Road+ button, front and rear Tru-Lok electronic locking differentials, and an Electronic Sway Bar Disconnect system. The Bronco brings all-wheel drive, all-terrain tires, and more options, but it does not live up to the Wrangler.

Aftermarket Support near Pittsburgh

Another way the Wrangler shines brighter is in its aftermarket support. As the Wrangler has been around for much longer, there is a wider variety of accessories to add on. Find more help, more parts and accessories, and more support all around in the Wrangler community.
